About Alluvium

al·lu·vi·um

noun - a deposit of clay, silt, sand, and gravel left by flowing streams in a river valley or delta, typically producing fertile soil.

The Genesis of Alluvium

The Alluvium, Inc. organization’s inception began as an offshoot of the former nonprofit, Men Who Care Global (MWCG). As MWCG’s Board of Directors were dissolving this successful organization, its Executive Director, Victor E. Earl, desired to continue the legacy of the organization by grabbing the baton and continuing the relay, forming Alluvium, Inc. The formal definition of an alluvium is: different sources of flowing water that erode away loose soil and sediments and replenish with more fertile and mineral rich soil. True to this definition, Alluvium, Inc. desires to use mentoring and life skills training to strip away the less than perfect characteristics and qualities of the youth we encounter and to then re-purpose those attributes and talents in order to help them craft fertile and productive lives. Alluvium, Inc. will go into high poverty schools to facilitate programming inclusive of Group and Mobile Mentoring, Literacy, and Technology to help the target audience make a connection with the importance of Education and themselves. Using the coined phrase “The Tubman Effect”, Alluvium, Inc. will push for adults to give back in an effort to bring our youth forward.

Alluvium, Inc is a nonprofit organization that focuses on mentoring and life skills development. #AlluviumCLT
